Clemson's Isaiah Simmons named Butkus Award finalist

Isaiah Simmons was named as one of six finalists on Monday for the Butkus Award, which is given to the nation's top linebacker.

The versatile Simmons has logged 74 tackles this season, posting team-leading efforts in TFLs (12), QB pressures (12) and sacks (6) and also posting an interception.

LSU's Devin White won the award in 2018.

The award is typically given out the week after the championship games ahead of the College Football Awards show.
