Clemson drops in latest AP Poll |
The R.O.Y. Bus is getting cranked up in full gear.
Clemson drops one spot to No. 4 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 ranking on Sunday. The top five in the rankings were Alabama (1,486 points), LSU (1,462), Ohio State (1,429), Clemson (1,408), and Oklahoma (1,343). Clemson has won its last two games by a total of 90-24. Alabama received 24 first-place votes, LSU had 16 first-place votes, Ohio State received 13 while Clemson had only nine total. The SEC conference had five teams in the top 10, including Florida at No. 7, which is the highest one-loss team. Wake Forest resurfaced in the rankings with at No. 25 as the only other representative besides Clemson out of the ACC conference. ACC teams that were close to being ranked in the top 25 included Virginia (#27) and Pittsburgh (#29). Clemson was ranked No. 2 in the newest Coaches Poll released earlier Sunday. But I'd like to see some consistency in the way all teams are judged. I moved Bama out of No. 1 this week just the way I moved Clemson out of No. 1 after UNC.
