Charone Peake makes Jets' current 53-man roster

Former Clemson wide receiver and Jets rookie Charone Peake made it through the last round of team cuts on Saturday according to team officials.

Peake has been impressive during NFL preseason and has also been utilized as a gunner on special teams.

He had 50 receptions for 716 yards and five touchdowns this past season at Clemson. For his collegiate career, he had 99 catches for 1172 yards and ten scores.

He was a seventh-round draft pick by the Jets in the 2016 NFL Draft.
