Tigers Jump Into Top 10 in Polls

by -

CLEMSON, SC -- Clemson continues to climb the polls as they move into the top 10 after a 31-10 victory on the road at Virginia. The #7 ranking in the AP poll is the highest ranking for the Tigers since October 1, 1991 when Clemson was sixth. That #6 ranking is also the last time Clemson was in the top 10.

Clemson is off to its best start since 1989. Clemson has been 4-0 just 12 times in history, just four times since 1959. Clemson was 4-0 three times in the 1980s, 1981, 1987 and 1989.
