Mickey Plyler on Fields: Its always nice to steal one from your rival. One Gamecock analyst told me this was the best player in South Carolina's class. Fields combines great strength with blazing speed. His dad played in the NFL and it wouldn't surprise me if we saw Mark develop into an NFL prospect. Fields is big enough and physical enough to take on the bigger wide outs. He has elite speed to handle the speedy wide outs. This was a major pickup at a crucial position.
