I am uniquely qualified to answer this with great certainty. The answer is SHE’S BOTH As a person of mixed race (Colombian & African American) who married a person of mixed race (other races), have 5 boys and a small army of Grandkids, whom are all more mixed race… we can celebrate any part of that racial makeup. My grandkids may never make it Columbia as I did in my youth to meet that part of our family, however it’s still part of their heritage I get how so many folks that have 1 race in their family (although I’d wager there are other races that have climbed that family tree at some point) it’s hard to get your head around. Mixed race people don’t have to pick one, we can pick all. Kamala went to a HBCU, and pledged a blk sorority…. But somehow she just turned blk LOL

and I still could not care less what identity group or gender she belongs to. Plain and simple - identity politics is a distraction from the real ideas and agendas of the candidates themselves. I am 100% more concerned with Harris' decades long radical leftist ideological framework and her demonstrated incompetence as VP. You know - the things that actually matter when making policy and running the Executive branch of Government.

But... since identity group is more important to the leftist press ideologues and echo chambers than intellectual policy discussions we always end up here... That same old place where Trump has, once again, put his stupidity on full display by taking a whole mouthful bite into this Democratic identity group distraction shidburger where he just gobbles it up every time they serve it to him.

Trump is so politically stupid at times and allows stupid topics like this to become the press occupation instead of an actual policy agenda. For once it would be nice if that orange-faced blockhead would simply answer any racebaiting with: "I don't care about Kamala's heritage or gender. What I do care about is her demonstrated incompetence and what her ideological framework and policy agenda are going to do to the working people of this country".... But no... as sure as the sun will rise - Trump takes the bait 100% of the time and always steps on his crank where we get yet another news cycle of echo chamber BS instead of focusing on the policy differences that really matter.

The NABJ Q&A session yesterday was very good for Trump. This is not immediately intuitive.

Being ambushed with a multi-pronged, impossible to answer comprehensively (given the time constraints and the Q&A’s objective of having all three journalists get their time) without burning up most of the available ~ 30 minutes, Trump wasn’t ready … this time.

In hindsight and with hours to reflect, Trump (as well as any other savvy debater) would have countered with ‘let’s avoid your stereotype that all blacks are the same, and let’s start by picking one from among your list of black prosecutors.’ If the ABC News babe wasn’t able to name one of the offending prosecutors, then Trump could end that part of the Q&A session by saying ‘you’re not prepared, do better next time.’ If ABC Babe picks a name (L.James, A.Bragg, F.Willis), then Trump could easily rattle off the ‘animal’ characteristics of that prosecutor. ‘Spending time on fake political prosecutions instead of fighting the burgeoning crime in their own cities, etc etc.’

Here’s the counter intuitive aspect of Yrump’s ‘win’ yesterday.

The NABJ session was a trial by fire annealing process that was viewed by political junkies, and will be re-reported in sites which are viewed by political junkies. This will move the needle a little against Trump, but not much.

(*). When a debate takes place, Grump will be battle tested as to how to handle race baiting gotcha questions, as per above. The debates get far larger main stream audience with what are, essentially, low information voters. Trump will be far more effective in making Kamala look weak. Bear in mind that the usual debate (applies the same with negotiations) is to keep doing something until it stops working. Kamala’s team will be prepping her for a sequel of sorts of the ABC News babe’s race attack. Trump will be ready and an experienced debater. Kamala will be an unpracticed debater. The advantage will be Trump’s.
