Over a the weekend. The two announcers do not understand the rule about being able to fumble forward on 4th down (goes back to the spot of the fumble). I mean come on. AND that is the same announcing crew for FSU. Where did they find this crew? It’s not rocket surgery fellas. If you fumble the ball forward it does not matter who recovers it (unless the defense scoops and runs it back I guess). Just know basic freaking football if you are announcing a game.
Look up Ralph Guglielmi, Notre Dame GB, back in the day. I was listening to a game in the fifties. ND was down some points in the first half and was driving to the opponent's goal. He conveniently fumbled the ball across the goal line and it was recovered by a teammate. End of the second half there was a miracle. Same play at the goal line, same results, Notre Dame wins the game. Luck of the Irish?
