It's probably time to implement some of Dabo's best practices in other areas of the athletics program, such as recruiting, portal management, and of course results.

Because by now we've all come to hopefully understand that "winning the regular season" is, after all, a pyrrhic goal.

I don't think we're gonna need the security cameras for this next part.

Interesting you post this. I doubt many will see it, but a wonderful article and interview with Kim mulchey, the lsu women's bball coach.

The gist of the article says women's bball and all the other college sports are tethered to how well the men's football and basketball teams do. Most specifically, how they fare in the college playoffs and how they fare in March madness. She's obviously referring to the money and notoriety it brings to the individual school.

I don't like her, but she was spot on in her assessment. If said school doesn't excel in one or the other, forget the other sports because the money will simply not be there. She's talking sports that most d1 schools participate in. Not horsey riding etc.

That goes against the girlcocks success in WBB while they suck at real sports.

Well, the rule is different for esecpn football programs as they get the automatic conference boost.

Regardless of whether they win a national title or get their doors blown off by UCONN in an embarrassing loss by the lady gamecocks only to be overshadowed by the racist HC coming unglued in front of God and everybody by having a 45 minute profanity laced canniption fit during the game.
