My guess is that this was not a 1 mistake and done situation.
Likely an accumulation of mistakes that led to an "enough is enough" stance from Monte.

I'm just glad to see that Monte has rules for the team he expects them to follow just like Dabo does for football.
No one is bigger than the team or can have a negative impact off or on the field of play!

We are losing players and needs to low down. Losing a hitter and a pitcher but you can't avoid some injuries and you can discipline when it is needed.

I know the story behind all that. Not saying that’s what happened here, but I’m not shocked unfortunately. Nothing bad, but I don’t think he was all in on playing college baseball and being great.

That’s a big lose for a team that doesn’t have much star power. MG was a steady hitter and this team needs a ton of that.
