I would just say "As my boss, shouldn't you know what I'm doing ?"

Just mark everything private that you don't want them to see

and why would you have anything personal on your work calendar.
You know you can view/have multiple calendars in Outlook, right?

I shared my calendar with a direct report one time. I talked to this guy

pretty frequently and every single time he would ask me "how did ### meeting with YYY go?" EVERY FREAKING TIME. He was obsessive about keeping track of my calendar and it weirded me TF out.
Since then, I've had a strict DO NOT SHARE policy for my calendar. I only share availability.

My boss and I shared our calendars with each other "for awareness" -- but basically it was so I could make sure he was doing what our team needed him to be doing.
Then thankfully one day he left the company, and now I'm sitting in his chair. I think my new boss (former boss's boss) would be annoyed if I shared my calendar with him. He'd look at me like, "do I really need to hold your hand on scheduling your day?"
I prefer it this way now.

Unless, you know, I needed to do that.
Then I'd work on firing them.

Yeah, not a big deal to me. I also do approximately 5% of my work calendaring so I need to share it.

I've not had a boss since online calendars were a thing

I have access to all my employees calendars. They can make things private if they are private matters but I need to know their schedule so I can invite to meetings etc. Everybody has access to my calendar as well. I have way more on my calendar than everyone else. My assistant can see my private appointments as well.

I suggest you resign immediately and then show your boss just how much money you can make picking up aluminum cans on the side of the road.
THAT'LL SHOW 'EM.
