Some fans just don't get it

You speak to these 16, 17, and 18 year old recruits in THEIR language. You don't talk to them about John Heisman, Perry Tuttle and the likes... you don't talk about topics like winning a National title before they were born. That makes you seem irrelevant to them. You post pictures, stories and build your recruitment game plan around the most recent successes possible. History is for fans, not recruits.

Show pictures of us winning the National Championship, but don't make that the primary focus. Recruits want to see the achievements of the current coach and recent teams.

It may be a cool fact that Banks McFadden played at Clemson, but recruits would rather hear about Sammy Watkins and CJ Spiller
