Here is a guy who promised 2 Trillion Dollar savings. Got rid of everyone who regulated his companies at the NTSB, FAA etc. "Claims" to have saved 160 Billion but independent fact finders estimate 135 Billion cost. Got no bid Starlink contract for FAA. SMH.

I'll need to see receipts.

Be honest. Even if you saw them, you'd still find a reason to ignore receipts...

The Social Security fraud that Musk supposedly uncovered were crimes that had previously been discovered. The fraudulent payments were intentionally assigned to accounts that couldn't actually exist (e.g. 150 year old people) rather than to the people whose identities were stolen to commit the fraud, so that the folks who were victimized wouldn't have their credit negatively impacted.

The last time I asked that to a MAGA on here, the reaction I got was equivalent to what you would expect if you slapped their kids right in front of them.

Y'all are so good to scoffing at news outlets and crying about "fake news!" anytime someone dares criticize your Dear Leader. So what outlets do you rely on for accurate, reliable news information?

And don't you dare say Fox News.

Or do you just blindly accept Trump at his word and his word alone?

Here's some basic math based on the 5 bullet point emails being done

Apr 30, 2025, 3:26 PM
Reply

2.4 million federal employees (which is excluding the military)

Average hourly salary of $35.54 per hour (per Pew research center)

$85,296,000 per hour

Let's just say it takes 5 min to write up the email. Divide hourly salary by 60 and multiply by 5

That ends up being $7.1M per week, to write up a useless email that was dictated by doge for a "pulse check".

We're now roughly 10 weeks into doing this. Now I understand that it technically doesn't cost the govt. anything "extra" since they're paying the wages anyway, but as far as cost per man hour is concerned, we're at $70 million dollars....for a useless email exercise.
