Mostly about how they are all ND fans today as a loss would knock us out of the CFP and I realized something...

I’ve never in my life had to root for a team to beat my rival to knock them out of something significant.

Think about it....fans of some of the biggest rivalries (OSO-Michigan, Texas-OU, Florida-FSU come to mind) have at some point, had to root for another team to knock one of those teams off.

Save for one SECCG where the whole world knew Auburn was winning it, the coots have never played in anything of any significance where we’ve really had to root for another team to beat them.

Yet another reason this “rivalry” isn’t much of a rivalry at all!
