Injuries and a sharp decline in the quality of pitching are the two biggest issues. The team has lost 5 of the last 7 games with 2 of those coming against two very average to below average teams (BC and Miami). This is a bad time of year to be playing so poorly.

I know these selection committees are always trying to match up the coots with us. We already played them. We don’t want to play them again.

It won't matter who's in the Regional ... Pitching staff is weak, gives up too many early runs. That's fine during the regular season, I guess, but no way that will translate to wins in the postseason.

It don't matter what seed we get, they'll find a way to screw us with the top 2 and 3 seeds they can get. Last year we got punished for working up the 4 seed, even tho we still should have beat Tenn, they should've been in the 14-16 seed reagion since they barely missed out on a host themselves. Made no sense

What a different sport Baseball is, where losses are expected and a single loss even in a Conference Champ series makes little difference. You can expect more of the same a the football playoffs expand I guess.
