Being as unbiased as I can, the Clemson offer is honestly his best one, and Notre Dame is the only one close.

Norte Dame sure had a run heavy offense last year, although with Sam Hartman playing his 12th and possibly final year of eligibility at ND, they might pass the ball.
I think that if commits to us, then ND will almost certainly go get a commitment from another fine (different) QB.
Again, if he commits to us, and if our passing game shows signs of real life in 202, then I could foresee him sticking to his commitment.
It would be a good thing if we could get him.

Definitely one where you trust the coaches. Not ranked by Rivals or ESPN yet. 247 has him as a 3* and not nationally ranked except for composite but that’s splitting between On3 and them. On3 has him as a 4*. Time will tell how good of a prospect he is but considering our staff identified him early tells me they must really like something about him.

Cant say who he will commit to but he appears to have a Marino quick release and pretty good wheels

Yeah, not sold. I'm not big on taking QBs from non-southern high schools with 1500 yards passing. No way I'd take his commitment with him not having played his junior year yet. If he commits to us here's to hoping he makes a huge jump.

Im assuming and could be wrong that McIntyre might not be in play anymore, unless we are planning on taking 2 QB's in 2025, which is possible. Im with you, he is just now going into his junior year, he either is going to grow really fast or fail really fast. We will see how it goes in the end, I wish him all the best though wherever he chooses.

I actually don't care what this kid is ranked. He is GOOD. Has awesome footwork and quick feet in the pocket, pocket presence is great, relaxed at all times, makes really quick decisions, ball placement is great, and his release is Aaron Rodgers like. No big wind up like DJ throwing over the top. He looks to me like a guy that has the skills to be a B+ QB in college, which is more than enough to win championships. Think Duggan, Connor Shaw, Stetson Bennett.

Chad Morris had a pretty good eye for budding talent and we have to assume Garrett Riley does as well.

I’m 90% Watson was ranked pretty highly when we got his commitment. I can remember everyone being stoked we got that caliber of QB because we had not done that in the past.

As long as it's a Riley, ESPN and other sports media will always move the rankings up and even make them a Heisman contender before playing a down. Kind of like the old days and Beano Cook with Notre Dame and Ron Powlus as the first 3 time Heisman winner who never actually won a thing.
I love Clemson and Dabo, but Riley is the most overhyped OC that I've ever heard of and I've been following this game for decades.

Without knowing a darn thing else, I can almost guarantee this kid is mentally and physically as tough as any other QB in the class.
And a LOT of the best QB's of all time originally hail from the northeast (include PA here of course).
If nothing else he will be a grinder in the QB room that will force the others to compete/deliver.
Iron sharpens iron. Let's go.
