HCEB said in a recent interview (I believe yesterday) that they are still working through the approvals so nothing is solidified. My guess is that he jumped the gun a few weeks back when he publicly mentioned the beer sales. Who knows, they could scrap the entire idea based on potential backlash, the risk of legal issues, heightened security needs, etc...it definitely seems to be a polarizing topic in Tiger Town. The folks who want to consume alcohol inside the game will find a way regardless.
