Seems to me they took a trip and went through Alabama and Louisiana and drank some of the water that finebaum been drinking. And probly not huffing paint more like freon . It's all good though they looked the idiots last year and surely seems they would have by now learned about underestimating Clemson cause they have proven them all wrong more in the last several years than they have been right. They just hate Clemson and it's fine cause I don't care nothing for them and their biased ### opinions. Hate on . Just puts us in even ground. No , I'm sorry to that can't happen because I will never put myself out there as such an idiot when I know where it's gotten me so much already . I seem to recall that game largely avoiding OT because Narduzzi was a moron and tried to kick a FG on 4th and goal from the 1 down 7 pts late in the 4th quarter.
They did beat Michigan though so maybe they will be ahead of us, but don't say none of the other teams had a near miss when that simply isn't true.

I can understand that most of the sports commentators have questions about our Tigers due to the number of interceptions that TL16 has thrown. He hasn't lived up to their expectations. However, our defense has been so much better than what they forecasted. The net result is that Clemson is better than their pre-season expectations.
I am curious. How many points has Clemson given up off of Trevor's interceptions? I am guessing that it is close to ZERO.

We've only given up 21 points after turnover this season - the TD mentioned above, a Charlotte TD after the Will Swinney fumble, and the 7 to UNC after Etienne's fumble. Only the last one had any bearing on the game.
On the flip side, we've scored 69 points after turnover this season.

Don’t know if that’s a CBS or Tigernet error; unfortunately I expect this from both. That said, it DOES NOT matter. PSU/OSU and Bama/LSU play each other. These rankings where they are today when there are known losses are absurd, have some balls and tell us what you think. Clemson and Ohio State are the best teams in the country. Put that out there rather than a meaningless ranking that you know will change.

I'm not sure Penn State will end up being ahead of us next Tuesday, BUT if they beat Minnesota next weekend then I could see them moving ahead of us in the CFP as that would give them wins over 3 ranked teams(Minnesota, Iowa, and Michigan). Yeah, I don't think any of those 3 teams are all that great, but like it or not, they're ranked at the moment.
I'd also be surprised if we're ahead of LSU or Ohio State until one of them losses, and it's probably a flip of the coin as to who will be higher between us and Bama next week. I could see us starting anywhere between 3-5 to be honest, so I hope most of you are prepared for any of those outcomes. The good news of course is LSU and Bama play next week, and Ohio State and Penn State play later on as well so it really won't matter.

UNC had to score late to have give Clemson a "near loss," while Pitt outgained PSU and probably should've been driving to take the lead at the end of the game. Penn State has also had "near misses" with every other quality team they've played, like Michigan and Iowa. Meanwhile, Clemson easily dispatched TAMU.

they get ranked will depend on how much the committee values different metrics:
LSU - Clear best resume of any of the 5, but hasn't been overwhelmingly dominant.
Ohio State - The most dominant team of the 5 to date with probably the 2nd best resume. They've also had arguably the best offense/defense combo in the country thus far.
Alabama - Close to Ohio State level of dominance, but with the worst schedule of any of the top 5.
Clemson - Not quite as dominant as OSU and Bama largely due to the UNC game and probably the 2nd worst schedule to date behind Bama. Probably the only team on this list other than OSU to truly have a top 10 offense and defense though (I'm not looking at total offense and total defense).
Penn State - Solid resume right there with OSU, but they've been incredibly up and down offensively and have largely relied on hitting big plays to score. I think they are a bit below the other 4 in terms of quality.
My guess is that the committee ranks them in exactly this order. If Penn State is ahead of us it's 100% based on resume because i think we are pretty clearly the better team. I know they value resume a lot, but they've shown before that resume is largely used to differentiate teams within tiers and I;m honestly not sure PSU belongs in the same tier as the other 4 right now.
A case could also be made for Clemson ahead of Bama, but i think the UNC game will be held against us.
And of course none of this matters because there are some huge games looming over the next few weeks that will completely shake everything up.

The Schedule thing is a part of the scenario but more so with teams that have lost.
The committee has said the 4 best teams are what they are looking for . This meaning Clemson should be 1 or 2.

This rhetoric is monkey see, monkey do. ESPN drives the narrative. They hate that the ACC has been better too to bottom than the SEC of late. Clemson has owned the SEC for better part of two decades. ESPN is hemorrhaging money in the SEC Network. They get choice #3 out of all the networks. So, they end up with terrible Mizzou vs terrible Tennessee. Or terrible Miss St, Ole Miss, AND Vanderbilt. Nobody watches. So, they run this false narrative that the SEC is King of Football. 6 years ago, maybe. ACC has won 3 of last 6 National Championship. Dabo is turning away elite talent like it’s cool. Golden age to be a Tiger!
