It's just as well that we missed on him. If we got him he was going to have to be derecruited a lot.
I'm not sure how Venables can be a liar in this situation though. Ohh well, Trevor will just have to hit Tee for a deep shot over the top of O'Neal.

Texas A&M. It was a weird one. This kid was the captain of a Houston 7 on 7 team sponsored by Adidas and wound up going to an Adidas school in A&M.

How did he lie, you didn’t sign with clemson so how can you say that wouldn’t have been your first play, Coach V loves to blitz. Just bc he offered the same thing to a better LB THE NEXT YEAR doesn’t mean he lied to you haha. Wonder what else he lied about, couldn’t be playing time or position he was going to play, would have to play for him to be lied about stuff like that. Can’t say he lied about early playing time if you never came aboard so I really wonder what else he “lied about”

He was silently unrecruited by BV late in the process. This kind of thing happens. Clemson either filled up or decided he wasn't a good fit for the culture. Either way, I read his tweet as "Yeah, Clemson told me one time they really wanted me, but ended up asking me not to commit."
