excellent restaurants, plenty of activities not too crowded. good shows come through. the only thing that sucks about it is 40 in the way greensboro designs the roads it’s almost as if they’re schizophrenic.

Once for the AEW ppv show when Sting wrestled his last match, and just recently when I saw Clutch was playing in Greensboro this summer but did an about-face when I found out the same tour had them in the Charleston Music Hall.
That should tell you everything you need to know about Greensboro.

It’s a nice area to live in. We settled in W-S after I got out of the Air Farce. It’s the wife’s hometown and is more suited to our style. Greensboro just never appealed to us as a place to live. We preferred more laid back. Anywho, a four or so hour drive and we can be at the beach, Virginia mountains or God’s country.

have described on here - but I wouldn’t choose to retire here if I had seemingly open options.
I have driven 2.5 hours on one weekend to ski and then 3 hours the next weekend to sit on the beach, so that’s cool - good location.
They’ve tried to revitalize downtown with only marginal success.
