It’s a nice area to live in. We settled in W-S after I got out of the Air Farce. It’s the wife’s hometown and is more suited to our style. Greensboro just never appealed to us as a place to live. We preferred more laid back.
Anywho, a four or so hour drive and we can be at the beach, Virginia mountains or God’s country.

I have driven 2.5 hours on one weekend to ski and then 3 hours the next weekend to sit on the beach, so that’s cool - good location.

They’ve tried to revitalize downtown with only marginal success.
