Sorry this is on the football board but please pray for me

I’ve been having urinary issues for a while now. I’ve seen two urologist and a nephrologist and they have run many tests over the past two years and found nothing. I went to Duke for another opinion last week and they found cancer cells in my urine. I’m having a diagnostic procedure today to confirm where they think it is and determine next steps. My Son will be a freshman at Clemson in the fall and was also planning to try out for the football team as a kicker. His orientation is on 6/26. Anyway, to my fellow believers, please pray for me and my family. Thank you. Scott

Scott, you and your family have my prayers. I had some urinary issues almost 4 years ago , and some cancer cells showed up. I had successful surgery in February, 2016, have been clean since, and only having annual check ups now. Hope your results turn out as good as mine.

My sister in law was diagnosed with terminal stage 4 cancer 6 or 7 years ago. Hundreds maybe thousands of believers have prayer groups for her and she is as healthy as can be. Ask and ye shall receive is real. Theres no other explanation.

Prayers for a speedy diagnosis and quick recovery. If it’s your prostrate, doesn’t sound like it, before you commit to surgery consider the blasts. Your dr will know what I’m talking about. I hope your son still tries out for the team

Thanks so much for all the prayers and well wishes. I got through the procedure. Looks like it is in my right ureter. Which is what the CT indicated. The doctor said that he examined the entire system and that was the only area that he physically saw something suspicious. He did biopsy’s in a lot of areas to make sure it’s not in other places. Will know more on Tuesday. Again thanks so much for your prayers. It’s in God’s hands no matter what.

Scott is my cousin but I love him like a brother. In fact I’m closer to Scott than my brother. I’m a few years older but our lives both run very similar. We are both blessed with wonderful wife’s. In fact our oldest two both are Minnie Me’s of our wives and the youngest are spitting images of Scott and I.
Please continue to pray for Scott and his family, especially his mom. Scott is a only child and was born late in his mother’s age. Rivalry means nothing to Scott and me. We have both have had a health scare and I’m praying for him now in his hour of need like he did for me.
Continue your prayers for good news soon and his potential surgery coming soon. I promise if Scott is not able to post I certainly will. A very special man and husband and dad. Can’t wait to see his son kicking for Clemson. Another reason to put aside rivalry but pulling for our family. Thanks for y’all praying for Scott.
