today...BUT...a few words about the D and special teams.

Tacking was vastly improved. Better angles, better gap integrity, much, much better. Only thing I didn't like was we still have issues at setting an edge---but I have no doubt Coach Allen will get that fixed. ON that topic DE Mayo flashed....good to see. Only criticism of Heldt is he needs to work on his speed....this isn't the Big10 --- he will need to adjust. But he impressed--don't get me wrong. Very strong, very good hands, he's tough to handle. Very good addition to the defense.

I honestly don't know what to make of special teams watching this glorified scrimmage...way too early to make any coherent comments.
