Does the US Military answer back?
Or does someone else get involved?

which may have been the intent as opposed to doing nothing. I believe Iran even informed Qatar in advance. Sounds like Iran was merely trying to save face and not further escalate the situation in the process.

Agreed, they will play it up domestically to save face but they didn’t want the US to see it as a real threat.

I think it's over for now. Iran will use some proxy attack down the road is my call.

No reason to tie back at that. That’s like a haymaker that never landed. Or maybe more like an air ##### slap. Let Iran leader save face that he did something but was much beneath us. Bigger concern is a proxy terrorist attack.

It's over. When the rest of the middle east condemns Iran firing against the US, it's over for Iran. They stand alone.

Israel and Iran have agreed to a cease fire - hopefully no one. Iran gave notice of their launch, and their missile was shot down … no damage or lives lost ..

Iran has bankrolled and formented such a massive level of death, destruction and disruption in so many countries during the last 40 years that they shouldn't be allowed to have their hands on anything more powerful than an 1100 watt microwave.

That was response was like a mosquito bite and squashed on site. I don't think anything else happens, I think the point was sent and that'll be the end of it. A lot of people get worked up over something like this, but I've seen it before....no war will come of it, it was done to prevent a future war. It couldn't have gone more smoothly.

Iran is almost out of munitions. As always, Trump is playing the long game - which won't be long. No reason to fire.
