Well it’s going to bee a really long season…we know that. Until Bakich has a chance to get rid of Monte’s inept players and bring in his own it’s going to ge tough. Conference play is going to be bad for us.

Yea ask the top 10 how that is working. You have roughly 5 teams in the top 10 that has 2 losses. LSU is currently losing. Va tech a top 15 team has 2 losses one to college of Charleston and one to Bryant. This isn’t football, you lose games.

Until Bakich gets rid of Monte's inept players you say, with that statement you are calling Bakich a liar or a hypocritical phony, bc if you truly believe what you've said, you believe that he is one or the other, or both bc, coach Bakich has stated many time since becoming the new baseball coach at Clemson that, the prior coach had recruited very well bc the talent that he took over was as talented as any he has ever coached from top to bottom.
Now please tell what you really feel bc, Erik Bakich lost his first game of the season bc it was one of them days that a lesser team won over a better team, or he lied about all the great talent Monte had that he couldn't win with.

It’s called “coaching talk”…..you expect him to come in and say all of Lee’s current players suck? No…he still needed those guys to field a team….I’m saying those players aren’t good because they aren’t…example…Hoffman and Olychuk were starters and are now mop up bullpen guys.

UCF isn't a school from the frozen plains, where you practice in a gymnasium all winter. I expected them to be tough and these games , win or lose, will be good for us.

I've seen Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine, John Smoltz, and Phil Niekro have bad days on the mound, and IMO, they were as good as there was in the major leagues during their time on the mound, but all them had days where their best pitches just wasn't working for them. And it surly happens with college pitchers!!!

We can't be discouraged because a baseball season is 3 months long and there will be plenty of other losses. Now the thing is to bounce back and win this afternoon.

Monte has probably the third best talent in the ACC, EB lost in Maryland and played in the Big 10 which cares nothing about baseball. Before we bash Monte -and inept players let's remember EB overall record is worst than monte in two bad areas of the country with terrible baseball played.
