I have to give the coots credit. I have never seen a team

burn up the clock with an offensive drive as efficiently as they did against UK Saturday night. I think that drive was about 20 plays and they burned up almost the entire 4th quarter with it.
Of course, in the end they got no points from the drive. And when you are trailing by 14 points in the 4th quarter, the last thing you want to do is burn up the clock.
Maybe they were practicing for some future game where they actually have the lead and need to burn the clock.
They are coots. And there is no understanding their logic. And Muschamp is a great coach. And they are cycling in. Can't wait til November.

I watched and thought "Where is their up tempo offense they have been showing in practice on Cola TV?" Muscrap needs to figure something out quickly or their entire season is soon past saving. I honestly think they will lose to Mizzou, Ole Miss and Florida while getting blown out by Texas A&M and Clemson. That leaves only Tennessee and UTC as wins along with the two they currently have.
I honestly believe when the current USCe president retires next July the incoming president and BOT will be pressured to clean house in the athletic program starting with Tanner and Muscrap. Muscrap may last through 2019, but the schedule is one to force the issue because they likely lose to BAMA, Clemson, Georgia, Florida, Texas A&M and perhaps Mizzou and Kentucky.
Good luck with keeping your job.
Go Tigers!

21 plays, nearly 8 minutes off the clock...

ya gotta hand it to 'em. It was Coach Ford's "dream drive"---that is, when you're ahead. But when ya don't score any points at the end of that mammoth, energy-sapping drive----well, its a century of chickenfootball in a nutshell
