They would go to the top 20 of the current 40 walkons

We have. The bottom 20 won’t be allowed to play at Clemson and will either have to give up football or transfer - at least that is my understanding of the cap.

Yea and that’s why he left. Klubnick for another year and then Vizzna. I doubt Hebert would ever see any time here other than garbage time

Don't think for a second Dabo isn't squirming and upset about the decomiment. Remember we didn't sign one in 24. Say what you will but 3 decomiment in a small class ain't good.
I notice on here page after page of laughter when a kid decomiment from scar or fsu etc. But now it's no big deal when it's us. Man up and be consistent.

I don't think for a second that Dabo is worried about it. I'm certainly not

We took 2 QBs in ‘26. Seems like he may have had an inkling this was coming…

If Klubnik and the Tigers keep it going, Clemson will be very desirable place

The action taken by Hebert shows him to be more "me, me, me" than the typical Clemson recruit. Everyone thinks of self-interest, but when you know a school is relying on you, you have given your word, and a great amount of time passes between your commitment and your departure, there is a selfishness at play that is much less than pleasing to see. Hebert has shown quality that could easily cause issues in the locker room, so this may be a blessing in a very thin disguise. Better him gone than here causing program issues. I wish Hebert well at Notre Dame, but for both sides, better him there than here.

I am not pleased that Hebert is moving on, but decommits happen. The narrative has changed for Clemson. Everyone was saying that Clemson was in decline and Dabo was out of touch. No one is saying that now. I wish Hebert well; Dabo and Clemson will adjust and move on.

we're feeling really good after beating up some soft competition, but we haven't beaten a good team yet.

Dabo has an excellent track record on late cycle offers and commits to fill flip or early departure gaps. I'm sure that plays a big role in the confidence he's showing now with the Hebert decommit. I would imagine that there are several QB options they've been keeping up with for the '25 cycle that he hasn't been in a position to offer yet due to the loyalty factor that we will likely see play out here in the coming months. Either way, when we lose a commit like this odds are, for Team Clemson, we're dodging a bullet.

honestly when the Herbert commit was made it was to fill the spot of Cade's

scholarship thinking Cade would depart after this season. Don't see that happening. We will replace Tyson with another that type of guy. we may pickup a HS guy for 2025 but more that likely. A graduate that has 1-2 years left of eligibility then it will probably be CV/Pearman/grad guy(whether its the same guy as 2025 or another) and the 2 FR in 2026.
