Favorite non-football Clemson sports moment?

Since we're in the dead zone between baseball and football, was curious what your favorite Clemson sports moments were other than football.
For me, it was the soccer team winning the national championship my freshman year at CU. Went to all the playoff games there at Riggs. Loads of fun.
Second biggest moment was us beating Duke to win the ACC regular season title. Littlejohn was PACKED! I don't know that that place has ever been so loud - before or since.

Not “moments” but memories...
I was a “ball boy” for the soccer team in ‘83
I was also one of the kids running on to the court at littejohn asking players like grant/jarman/epply if I could have a wristband

Watching 6-6 Murray Jarman on an 11-20 awful Clemson team play 7-4 Ralph Sampson off his feet in Littlejohn in 1983. Clemson lost 85-83 and gave #3 UVA all they could handle.

Not a single moment for me, but as a kid watching Khalil, Jeff Baker, Michael Johnson, Casey Stone and all those guys. I remember standing beside the gate just waiting to run in the parking lot and get a homerun ball

Finding out that a girl was on the swim team, going to a couple of swim meets, making eye contact, getting a date. This worked with girl's cross country and field hockey as well.

Reading just the title of your post, I immediately thought of the soccer final 4 at Riggs as well my freshman year 87-88.
Clemson, Harvard, SDSU, and UNC (or was it Duke). Anyway - was stinking awesome.
And with regards to basketball, we were spoiled with some great teams with Dale and Elden.

We had some great teams then! Football was really good (last time we won the ACC until Dabo brought us back), basketball was great, soccer, etc. Good times!

I was stationed at Ft Lewis WA in the mid 80s and went to the Kingdome in 84 to see Clemson win their first soccer Natty I think against Indiana. Can’t say it was a great moment because there were only about 3000 people in that dark depressing building.

I went to all the games and remember that well. After we won someone in one of the frat houses played “We Are The Champions”. Was really a special time.
There was a group of students sitting near me who kept complaining about the Clemson fans yelling “football cheers”.

If it has to have already occurred, maybe the soccer championship when I was a student or the golf championship after I graduated. My brother was on one of Penley's first teams.

I'm good friends with Noel and his family. Great guy. Went to church with him in Raleigh, NC for a few years before I moved away. A true Clemson man.

Mine is recent because of how young I am, but it’s Seth Beer taking the coots deep on a 3-2 count with 2 outs in the top of the 9th to tie the game

Clemson vs Maryland basketball, I think it was 1974. We were down at the half pretty big and Skip Wise almost single handedly brought us back to even, but we lost by maybe 2 points at the end. He was hitting shots from all over the floor. I was living in Johnstone and the guys next door were so upset, they picked their TV up and bashed it on the floor. Wise was the best bball player I ever saw at Clemson by a long shot.
