He was known to malinger: exaggerate or feign illness in order to escape duty or work. Missouri is the "show me" state. But best wishes to the dude's leg.

I hope it’s not serious. Mizzou needs him. They didn’t score the whole second half. Kelly is playing really good football. They live that kid there. Best wishes KB!!! Your team needs you.

Sorry to hear that, but why was he playing up 42 pts against Troy? I hear you can play suvs and not take that risk.

Maybe also because it wasn’t 42-7 before he threw the TD to go up 42-7.

As the poster above me mentioned, it was still the first half. I have no problem with playing the starters if you’re blowing someone out in the first half and then shut them down for the second.

Dirty play

No place for that in CFB.
Then the kid is celebrating on the sideline?
That's Busch League. No wonder that team is 2-3 if that's the team's aim.

I agree. It looked to me like he purposely grabbed his ankle and hit his leg with his shoulder pad after the pass was clearly away. It was a cheap shot.

It didn’t look late to me. Almost like he fell into KB. Not excusing bad play but looked like he fell into his leg. Either way, hope KB is ok! Finish strong!
Go Tigers.

Being up 35-7 in the second Qtr is what entices pisssed off players into making a hit like that on your QB. They are already getting beat down and embarrassed, and that's what will happen, and that player that made the late hit was back in the game and will play the rest of the season after taking out you starting QB that could very possibly be out for the rest of the season, and that would have been the end of BK2 college FB career bc he has already had his RS year. I hope that the injury to KB2 will help TL with this bringing back to the top of our coaches thoughts how easily this can happen, and take TL out of any game that can be easily finished off with a big win with Chase Brice behind center. The reps for your starting QB will never be acceptable with the possibility of a senseless injury happening bc opposing coaches and players are really pisssed when they feel they're being embarrassed by a team purposely running up the score with their starting QB still in the game scoring TDs with 5 TDs already on the scoreboard in the 2nd Qtr....

This is terrible. Never wish injury on any player. Hopefully he isn’t injured as bad as it looks. He shouldn’t have been in the game with the score as lopsided as it was

It happened yesterday in the Florida/Auburn game as well. although the Florida QB Kyle Trask was able to return and play the 2nd half. Don't know what was said by the announcers regarding the hit on Keyy.but all the announcers at the Florida/Auburn game said it was not an illegal, dirty, or a cheap shot.

Was going to say that Florida's Head Coach thought it was a cheap shot.

In the Florida game, the OL blocked him into the QB....

Not sure the DL could have done that differently... Mullen protests every call/non call during the game, so of course he thought it was. The Mizzou game looks to be a different story.

Well since we care for our players and all Clemson graduates like Kelly, that's not going to happen.

Everybody has their opinion. He left us vulnerable, said

insulting things, and I don't like it, and neither do a whole lot of other Clemson fans because I have to spoken to many of them. Myself; 1979 Clemson graduate, 296 consecutive home football games attended, and thousands and thousands of dollars in spent on IPTAY money and athletic tickets. I would say that my opinion holds at least as much weight as yours. KB is a tiger, a Missouri tiger. I wish him no ill, just keep this board for Clemson Tigers. There are many true Tigers that deserve a story on TigerNet instead of non Tigers.
