That's not really the issue most people are concerned about. Trump is using wartime powers (Alien Enemies Act), that haven't been used since WWII, to deport people. A federal judge temporarily blocked the deportations, and maybe or maybe not Trump defied the order. That's what is concerning to most people, not 'dem libruls dawnt lak Trump duportin crimunuls'.

The alien enemies act also states, a predatory incursion. If there is any evidence that the Venezuelan government released known gang members and sent them to the U.S. Then there is a good argument.
Either way, these are known gang members and criminals. People need to get out of their emotions and think rationally. If they are here illegally why do they need a judge to deport them?

I agree. People need to get out of their emotions and think rationally. People need to think about the separation of powers, the fact that this act hasn't been used since WWII (you know an actual war), the possibility that Trump defied an order from a federal judge, and the ramifications of general abuse of Executive power as it relates to legislation. People certainly need to get out of their emotions and be able to think beyond one moment.
Trump may be within his legal rights here, but even if he is, he's pushing limits. If a Dem did something like this, Pubs would be losing their minds.

In this case, by issuing an order. The Trump administration is not even arguing that the Federal Judge doesn't have the right to do this. Their argument is that the planes were not in the Judges jurisdiction at the time of the written order.

What percentage do you think will gain that threshold?
My guess is less than 1%, maybe none at all
Still, I believe in the Constitution and rule of law. Also NO BOND. No release until court date. Process these criminals and get them out as fast as possible
One other thing. If they are charged criminally in the US, they should most certainly be punished according to US law (and harshly) before being deported

This is exactly what you're doing. You're completely ignoring Constitutional due process because you're just eager to punish criminals--but are blindly trusting the word of this admin that they are just that.
Thinking rational = wanting this process to play out properly within the bounds of the law.

Deporting convicted criminals is a given. Even deporting migrants accused of violent crimes that do not have ANY legal status is OK.
The issue is deportation or refusing reentry to migrants seeking asylum and foreign nationals that have legal visas based only on government accusations.

Maybe there are more facts that I'm not privy to, but as I understand it these folks were deported simply based on being accused of being associated with this gang. Don't you believe in the rights of folks to have due process? Don't you want the government to have some level of burden of proof before we ship people out to a foreign prison.
For discussion's sake...what if there was a Venezuelan mother here legally that happened to be shopping in a store where gang members also happened to be at that time. Government raids the place and she gets picked up with gang members that she has no association with. She gets transferred to a holding facility and then put on a plane to a prison in El Salvador. She has had no court hearing to prove who she is and who she isn't. Her family and children don't know where she is or if she's been deported.
Are you comfortable with your country behaving like that?
I sure as h8ll am not!
A better question is how so many so-called conservatives are wiping their collective arses with the Constitution? What happened to standing up for law and order? Nah...let's put aside everything our country stands for and instead adopt a simplistic machiavellianism, because it's easier for folks like you to understand. Perfect.

They've already fully committed to believing each and every item that comes out of Trump or this admin's mouth without raising valid questions, and emotional responses are driving their reactions to deport people without due process or evidence just because they're told by the government they're bad.
They've fully committed to blind trust, and they'll continue to back this admin as they use more tactics like this to deny due process.

Branches of the federal government is a thing of beauty.
It is very possible that activist judges are taking liberties with their power.
If that’s true (and without getting into the specifics of this case, I think we all know it’s true in some cases) then the solution has to be fixing that problem. How? I don’t know. Maybe the judiciary has to bolster the “punishment” for a judge whose rulings are clearly not based on reasonable Interpretation of the law.
But one thing I can guarantee you is that the solution isn’t the Executive branch simply declaring a judicial ruling as wrong and ignoring it. That is a fundamental breakdown of this amazing system.
If the issue is that these guys are going straight from the US to a Central American maximum security prison without a trial, don’t you think that’s kind of crazy? Hypothetically, what is the number of innocent people that could get caught up in that that you would find acceptable? One? One ruined life? Is five okay? Ballpark it for me.
