qb strategy

Sep 8, 2014, 10:07 PM

If we start Cole, then we have a wildcard to put in and try to turn the game if things go south. Start Watson and we lose that. If things go bad from get go with 4 then we are stuck. I like having an ace in the hold.

I wouldn't mind that strategy but when 4 goes in and plays well please leave him in and see what he establish. Don't take him back out if he leads another touchdown drive!

We shouldn't wait until things go badly.

Change when FSU's D looks like they might be getting comfortable with Cole. Same with DW when he goes in. No more of this one series chit for either QB.

If you're gonna run a two QB system make it count. I think we'll probably sub QB's on one drive instead of how it was handled in the UGAy game. There are many twist to handling a two QB system. I suspect that our coaches have studied this extensively and know exactly how to utilize this system. I hope this is their Ace in the hole.
