I can say this, without any doubt or any equivocation, if I had been one of Ellington’s teammates and I was on the field for that play, Swearinger would have woken up looking out the earhole of his helmet. In fact, I’m probably getting tossed from the game at that point because I would have been out to do major damage. Why? Because you don’t do that to my teammate, in my stadium, in this rivalry. Ever. And get away with it.

about "not being stupid" and costly penalties ... no way one of the players do this.
The last "nasty" player we had was Bobby Williamson, and he and Syvelle combined to give us the Brawl and a Bowl ban.

You mean OUR players are drummed. Apparently, several other teams' players and coaches didn't get the memo. Farley, Chizcricket, Swearingher, Spurless............

not being stupid and costly penalties my a@@. swearinger had thre back to back to back pers. foul penalties and won one of there games. i dont agree at all with the taunting afterwards but if we had 11 defensive players with half the nastiness and heart as dj we would be undefeated every year. we showed a little against lsu
