I am surprised they are not Catholic in here. Its all good. My sister in-law married a Catholic so she converted. Her husband said something about the pope would not like what she said. Her answer was you ant sleeping with the pope. They call her a rebel Catholic we told her that meant she was protestant.

I agree but you know the old joke. A man was plowing in his field one day and his son came running over the hill. The boy said Daddy Daddy the preacher is coming. The father told his son to go back to the house and If it was the Catholic Priest Hid all the alcohol, If it was the Methodist minster hid all the money and if it was the Baptist preach hid your momma.

I have heard the argument offered that the wine that Jesus and his disciples drank was not fermented. While I believe it probably did not contain the same percentage of alcohol per volume that today's wine contains, I do believe it was fermented.
Here are the two reasons:
1) I disagree that the Bible teaches not to drink. It only says not to get drunk. If the wine was not fermented, then how would you get drunk with it.
2) The story when Jesus turned the water into wine...
It is often joked about you drink the stuff that you like first and then after you're buzzing real good anything will do...Milwaukee's Best.
The same thing happened with the Wedding in Cana. They ran out of wine and Jesus turned the water into wine. It was noted that this was the finest wine the host and partygoers had tasted and it was remarked at how unusual to save the best wine for last.

Has anybody ever had "too much" grape juice?

What's the difference between a Baptist and a Methodist? The Methodist will say hi to you in the liquor store.

I drink a lot and sometimes the dancing follows that. The dancing skill alone is enough to justify punching my ticket to hell.

You do know when Furman first got coeds. The President saw the bushes shaking out side his window so he went out side to investigate. He found a male and female going to town in the bushes. He said carry on I thought your were dancing.

Baptists can't dance because it looks to much like sex standing up.
It's bad, very bad.
Grandfather was Emmanuel Holiness, so I was raised in that and in the Baptist Church.
I'm unaffiliated now.
