wow.

LEWISTON, Idaho – Jackson Syring and Ian Montz hit back-to-back solo home runs in the sixth inning and LSU Shreveport (La.) completed the first undefeated season in collegiate baseball history (59-0), beating Southeastern (Fla.), 13-7, to win the 2025 NAIA Baseball National Championship at the Avista NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho.

Earlier this season, LSU Shreveport broke the record for most consecutive wins by a four-year school, 46, previously held by Division II Savannah State across the 1999 and 2000 seasons. Friday’s win broke the record for all levels, 57, set in 2009 by Howard College, a junior college in Texas. The Division I record is 34 straight wins, shared by Texas (1977) and FAU (1999).
