Yes, but his speech was leavened by the articulate Gov F Leghorn, the carnival barking of Tim Scott who indeed shows more passion for Trump than himself, and poor Linda Graham, who after swallowing Trump to his stomach is still getting booed.
What a spectacle.
Having said that, it's time for Nikki to bow out. I voted for her, but if she can't win open primaries in NH which is a moderate state and gets pummeled in her home state, what's the point?
She probably can't get on many state ballots as an Independent due to "sore loser" laws, so continuing makes no sense. If by some chance, Trump can't continue, I suspect DeSantis would be chosen at the convention.I would welcome that.
It appears she has the money to slog on through Super Tuesday, but what state is she going to win, if she's not even competitive in SC?

I think she needs to keep going, and then run 3rd party and get on as many state ballots as she can. Challenge those laws. Even if she loses, a good showing for a third party to compete against this clown show would be good for the country. What a great year to 'waste' a vote on a third party candidate.

I wish it weren't so, but the cartoon is correct and is well done. Pun intended.

She was never going to beat Trump in the GOP primary. I thought she was holding onto the No Labels nomination as a backup plan but you did point out those "Sore Loser" laws could potentially bar her. That inspired me to do some digging and I got back some differing answers - apparently, some scholars think as few as two states (just Texas and South Dakota) explicitly have laws affecting presidential candidates, though as many as 26 states do have Sore Loser laws that could apparently conceivably affect her from switching.
However - some folks have noted that if the Supreme Court stops Trump from being banned from the ballot due to a state's law not being allowed to supersede a national candidate's eligibility, those states absolutely cannot then turn around and allow Nikki to be banned...due to state law.
So even if Trump wins his eligibility challenge with the Supreme Court, what he's also in effect doing - ironically - is also keeping Nikki Haley eligible.

Will the SCOTUS ruling invalidate all state laws restricting balance access or just rule narrowly in that one case that he can’t be found guilty of sedition without being charged. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Yep train is loaded with people who would kill for him , literally. People who do not think for themselves but allow a single person to influence them what they believe. This is the same person who has broken many laws, who has a record of not paying contractors doing work for him, a person who considers himself above the law, illegally stole gov documents (Biden did too).

If Biden and Trump are the nominees, then our two major parties are a complete joke.
