It’s because he’s pulling the strings a lot harder on O than D. To call out the offense would be to call himself out. You’re right though, with him it’s always the defense.

Louisville was moving the ball before he got hurt, so that’s irrelevant… it didn’t help but this defense is so inconsistent & has no fierceness that a nasty defense needs. That’s a direct reflection of our soft and incapable DC Wes. I wasn’t thrilled with his hire but support Dabo. But now Wes has proven he can do less with more and every opponent we play has less and does more with their defense. End the Wes experiment! Hire a nasty DC like BV again. That’s where you start!

He adds they thought they had the onside too, and that the team continued to compete.
