Hunter Renfrow as WR Coach

This is one for we player that I would encourage to go into coaching.
He is one of best route runners. He studies defenses and the game. He prepares very well.
He would be someone who could teach and develop WRs.
Maybe someday.

How about one with lots of experience in developing players and is a good recruiter? Also, preferably one that doesn’t know Dabo.

No more hiring family friends, ex Tiger players and the family of University employees.
Let's go get real coaches with real experience that know how to develop players.

If we're going to hire a new WR coach...

I think hiring someone with actual experience would be a nice change of pace. Maybe that's just me!

Amen. We don’t need to be in the business of developing coaches too.

He's a former Clemson player with no coaching experience, so he's very high on Dabo's list if Grisham is let go.

Since you have seen the list who else is on it?

Prefer someone with a proven track record in three areas 1. Good recruiter 2. Good developer 3. Puts WR'S into the NFL

I think he would be a Good One "one day"!

Most important thing: he's a good person. And, he played in the NFL and can speak to what good looks like and to what they want to see. Recruits respect that and parents of recruits respect that.
He would be a good one for sure. Route running and everything else. Catches everything, blocking, etc.

No former players as coaches on the staff need someone with experience.

Let him prove himself somewhere first. We need a coach that knows how to develop players and someone who will put some fight into the guys we have now.
I say Renfrow could be someone we look at 10 years down the line if he’s had success coaching at a couple schools or in the NFL. We don’t need to be developing a coach while we develop players. We have enough of those project coaches already on staff.

We already have a WR coach with all the experience and success, and he lives in Clemson.

Why? He has ZERO coaching experience. How is he any different than Grishman?
We need someone with a proven track record.
Wouldn't want Renfrow to tarnish his perfect clemson image with being a crap coach.

My dream is Ryan Day craps the bed and he gets himself and his staff fired. Dabo could swoop in and offer Hartline Co-OC, passing game coordinator/wr coach.

If only we could pull a rabbit out of the hat everything would be so easy again...never was easy it was #### hard work for Dabo and a host of fine coaches...we must be one of the FOS fan bases in the country...not sure what we deserve...it probably ain't Dabo! There are a tiny group of schools worth killin...the big schools tolerate them so they have something to kill!
