Also denied. I sit up in TDD, so you can imagine my frustration at not getting better seats when there is a drop. I mean, how many people are behind me?

I was hoping to move even just half a section further away from the visiting band/fans, but nope, did not move even a single number on the same row. Sucks.

dept has run over the decades (state employees getting usuck tix for next to nothing for years and years), they have no room at all to talk.
Bi-Lo is a huge advertiser with Clemson and spends a ton of cash.....the fact they use a few game tix as sales inducement is healthy and expected.

in the last couple years and just have not seen it. I cannot remember being able to buy a hotdog or something else from a grocery store and get free tickets.
Not going to say that it has not happened, just have not seen it. If I saw something like that now it would be embarrassing. Again, not going to say that USC is not doing something like that just because I have not seen it, but I would be surprised to walk into a store and seeing them give away free tickets.

They're not free tickets. You spend about $30 and you get a

voucher for 2 tickets. Clemson gets parts of the money. It's a better option to help fill open corners of the upper deck. If I were in charge, I'd dump all the unsold tickets for anything just to make sure as many people could go as possible. Plus it's better than getting nothing for the seats. In any case, as reported, our ticket sales are fine just like they've been for decades.

questioned ticket sales. I know USC gives some tickets to Ft Jackson when tickets are available.
$30 in groceries is nothing (given it is specific brands).

speaking of tickets for the military, when i was stationed in nj,i got tickets to the old kick-off classis games -nc state/iowa and fsu/kstate.nice to see some military families get some tickets.lord knows they don't make a lot of money to take a family of four to a major d-1 football game.

Jacksonville Jaguars will will usually have 2 games a year where Military personnel can buy tickets for 5 bucks. Obviously its a team that has trouble selling tickets, but its still pretty cool that they do that

You mean I can get FREE FOOTBALL TICKETS with my purchase of that smooth-tasting Rally Cola!? It's just like when I want tickets to a NASCAR race. Really though, this is just sad. I thought I got a decent deal when I got two tickets to the Troy game for $32 through my company's online group ticket window, figuring at least the first game would have about sold out.
