Joined the Army Infantry in 2004. Participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom, 3rd Rotation, from January 2005 to January 2006 with the Third Infantry Division as a grenadier. Served three years as OPFOR at Camp Frank D. Merrill, home of the mountain phase of Ranger school. Graduated from Clemson in 2013.
