Any recommendations if so? I am going there for just 2 nights in a couple of weeks. I haven't heard much about Dallas.

I went to the JFK museum and then sat at the hotel bar and struck up a conversation w a cute brunette who was also there for business. Hooked up with her in the room, she went back to hers after. Honestly it was a great trip.

I liked Dallas! Wood recommend!

The only cool stuff I remember is Dealey plaza (where RFK's uncle was gunned down by multiple conspiratorial shooters) and the SMU neighborhood.

I did see GnR and Metallica at the old Cowboys stadium back in '92. Or was it '93?

But in general, Dallas and the "metroplex" are just everything about 'Murica times 1000.

Kind of what I am expecting. I will be in Austin for a couple days after. I assume that will have some character. The total time is a 3 days in Dallas and 2 in Austin.

I'd stay away from Dealey Plaza in a convertible. Grassy Knoll guy may have had

"11/22/63" by Stephen King is one of the greatest "What if?" novels I have ever read. But then, I have always been a sucker for anything to do with Time Travel. Yes, even "Back to the Future".
