That’s it, plain and simple. That ACC championship was an absolute snooze fest. The committees job is to get compelling matchups that everyone is watching making lots of ad money for the networks. If FSU had lit up Louisville with backup QB they would have been in, but when it was 3-0 at the half, the committee knew that everyone would tune out of an FSU playoff game. They couldn’t afford to do that. The games they picked will be interesting for 4 qtrs. Sucks for FSU and the ACC, but they got it right.
