Yes we do...and it seems too many games there's an opposing player or 2 having career days. Rankings are just a distraction to me, play well and go deep in the tourneys and everything else will take care of itself.

What seems to me to be out of place with our game against the tar brains is the 5-and-a-half-point favorite on our side of the ball, now that is Jinx if there is ever one!!! Go Tigers beat the tar brains!!!

Interesting how Duke dropped just 1 place but when lost in overtime to Memphis who happens to be a pretty good team they dropped us 9 places. I guess you have to have the Duke name on your jersey.

They definitely have coaches, the history and ACC/Refs on their side in comparison.
What have you done for me lately only applies if you aren’t in the SEC & don’t have winning traditions!

It really is especially when you look at an unranked Clemson beats the #2 team in the country, and they only drop one spot. Just let us lose to a top ranked team and we'll drop so low in the rankings that we wouldn't even make it in the mentioned for votes to enter the top 25 and I'm convinced that is how far we would drop. Like the old saying goes, we were dropped like a HOT potato!!!

Eerily similar to this past season’s football polls. 9 from the SEC and 5 from the BIG. I’m sure that these two conferences will somehow have a ton of ranked baseball teams as well.

That's how it's done to make sure they get as many SEC teams in the playoffs as they can get to help to insure they can get a SEC team into the national championship game. This really isn't anything new bc that's how it's been done for as far back as I can remember when it was the BCS and teams were appointed to the championship game, and make no mistake about it, if college sports were still under the BCS, we would've never been in one of their championship games and we wouldn't have two more NC trophies in our trophy case from the 2016 or the 2018 seasons. It would have been Bama and whoever was the next highest ranked SEC team was, and we could've bet the entire farm on that and won!!!

#4...WOW. Auburn loses @#1 and doesn't drop at all! Clemson comes in to the top 25 all the way to #23!
Then to add insult to injury, in the article on (S)E(C)SPN.com they don't even acknowledge the Tigers as the second team from the ACC in their miserable poll. Ck it out:
"CONFERENCE WATCH"
"The SEC had at least nine teams in the poll for the seventh straight week, including the top three overall and five in the top 10. No other league has had more than six ranked teams in any week this season."
"The Big Ten has six ranked teams, followed by the Big 12 with five and the Big East with three. The Atlantic Coast and American Athletic conferences each had one."
