Today seems to be that day.
I can't stand him, but Finebaum is right today. The NCAA does lack effective leadership, and college athletic leaders have been misleading the public in significant ways over the past few months.
Either these people think college sports fans are morons, or they have had their heads in the sand these last few months. Regardless, they seem to be completely out of touch with reality.

Where I find the NCAA being the most inept, and that's when the rules are broken. When it time to hand out it's punishment for wrong doings, they throw a dart at the dart board to see what individual schools get for breaking the exact same rules. I mean some schools have come close to getting the death sentence for a lesser infractions than what UNC was doing with their fake grades for subjects that didn't even have classrooms or professors/teachers to give any test to get the grades they were giving out!!!

The NCAA's biggest problem may not be leadership. When you think about it, the organization really has no clothes. The Big 5 conferences and state governments really have all the power. With recent developments on athletes being compensated, throw in Congress too.
What needs to be done is for everyone to openly admit the NCAA's limitations and how does it really fit into college sports going forward.
It's time for a restructure. The notion of a strong central organization may be dead unless conferences agree in writing to bow down and cede all authority. If they, obviously better leadership is needed at the top than Mark Emmert.

How brave of Paul to come out against the NCAA. What an original idea. I mean I don't have any opinion on him either way but Finebaum probably makes as much as he does just to jerk himself off on the radio every day so calling him out on his salary seems dubious at best. I bet if he was out spitting in cops and tearing down monuments Paul wouldn't have a problem with his salary or anything else. Go #### yourself Paul, you self important pile of manure.
