An ironic experience

Some of you might recall that West Va coach Holgorsen mentioned a guy named Bob Stitt after the unmentionable game a while back. He had given Bob credit for that jet sweep play that gave us a little trouble. I had completely forgotten about it. Bob is the head coach at Colorado School of Mines (D 2 - Rocky Mtn Conf). Fast forward to now. My son is a frosh at Mines. (Might have been a tiger had we not dropped the swim team, but that's another story...)This West Va story has come up a few times as I casually follow the Mines football team...Ironic that I am now rooting for this guy and his team. Never would have seen that coming on the horrible night. For those of you who have not heard of him, it's a story worth a google. Coach Stitt sent a hand signed pic when I ordered a "Stitt Happens" t shirt, which I will be wearing at the game on parents weekend (probably over some layers!). While I hope we never lose the Chad, Coach Stitt would be a great candidate for his replacement should it ever come to that.
