IMG Academy (Fla.) and Palmetto State product Demonte Capehart saw a move near five-star status among Clemson’s commits in Rivals’ updated rankings this week.

Capehart, formerly of Hartsville before the IMG move, is up 29 spots to No. 35 overall. There are 33 five-stars according to Rivals currently.

Offensive lineman Paul Tchio (Milton, Ga.) jumped 76 spots to No. 140 overall. Capehart and Tchio are two of 14 Clemson commits in the Rivals250, which is led by new No. 1 Bryan Bresee (Damascus, Md.), No. 2 D.J. Uiagalelei (Bellflower, Ca.), No. 9 Myles Murphy (Powder Springs, Ga.), No. 23 Demarkcus Bowman and No. 28 Fred Davis II (Jacksonville, Fla.).

Receiver Ajou Ajou jumped over 20 spots to No. 58 among receivers nationally.

Clemson currently sits in second behind LSU in the Rivals team rankings with 17 four-star or higher rated commits -- also second in star average (4.1; Georgia with a 4.13 average).
