Virginia Tech puts Tiger Band in upper deck corner |
Clemson's Tiger Band is currently sitting in the very extreme corner of the upper level in Lane Stadium as they await the No. 2 Clemson vs. No. 12 Virginia Tech primetime matchup on Saturday night.
They literally have the worst seats at the stadium as the tuba section is on the last row of the upper level. Hopefully, none of the students are afraid of heights because they are at the very top of the Hokies' upper level. I can imagine it's quite a shock for some of them not used to playing their instruments this high up. It will be interesting to see what happens to the Virginia Tech band when they visit Death Valley in seven years (2024). Currently, the opponent bands are placed in a premium spot on the lower level. However, it's possible that the Tigers will decide to hook up the Hokies with their own upper deck experience when it's time to repay them for their hospitality. CU in Blacksburg!
