has committed to the Gamecocks. He committed to South Carolina receivers coach Steve Spurrier Jr. during an unofficial visit on Weds. Smith is commitment No. 11 for the Gamecocks and the first one at the wide receiver position. As a junior, Smith caught 45 passes for 830 yards and 15 TDs to lead the Wildcats to the 2A state championship game. Smith is also a baseball prospect and is projected to go high in the 2012 draft. He attended Clemson's junior day. #15 rated player and 4 star recruit based on the 2012 AthleteVault NC/SC Rankings.
