Clemson makes ESPN's hypothetical CFB Final Four |
Fans across the country are engrossed lately in college basketball's March Madness tournament that has been stuffed with last second victories and cinderella upsets in the first few rounds.
The Clemson Basketball team did not secure a spot in the current tourney but two ESPN analysts have placed Swinney's Tigers in their 2016 final four college football bracket. The 68 teams used for the playoffs were selected from data from ESPN's Way Too Early Top 25 Poll (Clemson #5) and their Football Power Index rating (Clemson #4). Mark Schlabach had Alabama vs. Stanford and Florida State vs. Clemson in his final four while Andy Katz had Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma State (Bedlam Series) and LSU vs. Clemson (Rematch of 2012 Chick-fil-A Bowl) facing off.
