Mickey,

While reading the USA report on athletic department revenues I noticed one entry that listed the amount of money each department received from its students to help finance the athletic department. Only public colleges were included since private schools do not have to report their finances. The ACC has 8 public colleges. The schools and the amount each received from its students were:

Virginia - $13,942,471

Virginia Tech - $8,885,874

Florida State - $8,446,443

North Carolina -$6,970,442

N.C. State. - -$6,550,407

Georgia Tech. -$5,387,074

Louisville - -$1,986,176

Clemson - -$ 0

James

James,

Clemson has had the same policy for years, but this year that has changed. They will create some revenue with the new student ticket policy. I think the new policy will create $938,000. This should help cure a long-standing issue.

Mickey,

Have the freshmen football players reported to campus? Do you anticipate any academic issues? Thanks. I appreciate what you do to keep us informed. Listen daily on the app.

David

David,

Yes, they have reported. To my knowledge, they are not expecting any academic issues at this point. Hope this helps. Thanks for the kind words.

Mickey,

I see where we are recruiting the five-star guard from Porter-Gaud. Do we have a chance or will this be another Zion heartbreaker? Come on Brad!

Jack

Jack,

Clemson has made his final nine. I think if James stays in-state, I think Clemson leads. However, his dad played at Michigan State, and the other national powers are starting to get involved. I have been told he is not close to a decision. This Wednesday is the start of the new evaluation period where coaches hit the road and I think Clemson is in as good of a position as it could hope for at this point.
