made unofficial visits to the University of Texas this weekend. The 6-7 Grant, from DeMatha High in Maryland, is rated a top-50 caliber player. Grant is the son of former NBA forward Harvey Grant, who played at Clemson and Oklahoma. Grant’s list: Texas, Syracuse, Oklahoma, Virginia Tech, Rutgers, North Carolina State and perhaps Maryland. Great rebounder and runs the floor well. He can score off the dribble or face up opponents. Grant plays with energy and urgency and is capable of defending both forward positions.
