Clemson RB target decommits from SEC school

by -

Four-star 2019 running back Jerrion Ealy (Flowood, Ms.) decommitted from Ole Miss ahead of a scheduled official visit to Clemson (Jan. 12) and says he will sign with his school of choice on Feb. 6.

Ealy recently made an official visit to Mississippi State as well. He made an unofficial visit to Clemson in November. Clemson is currently favored in 247Sports' Crystal Ball predictions.

"I have thought about this for (awhile) and it wasn't an easy decision to make," Ealy posted on Twitter, but with God, my family and my coaches, I would like to announce that have I have de-committed from the University of Mississippi."

Ealy is regarded as a potential early selection in the MLB Draft (No. 18 prospect per MLB.com) but he is coming off an outstanding senior campaign in football, also earning Under Armour All-American MVP honors recently with 119 yards and two touchdowns.
